Landsat 7 turns seven

Apr. 15, 2006 • On this day in 1999, Landsat 7 was launched into orbit. Landsat 7 is the latest satellite in the Landsat series. Landsat 7 operations continue today, despite the Scan Line Corrector (SLC-off) anomaly.
