Feb. 28, 2013 • The Landsat Data Continuity Mission successfully launched into orbit on Feb. 11, 2013 at 10:02 a.m. from Vandenberg Air Force Base’s SLC-3 launch pad aboard an Atlas V-401 rocket.
Assistant launch director Tim Dunn told NASA TV, “Things could not have gone better today. It really was an absolutely smooth countdown.”
