Jun 6, 2012 • In late April, Landsat 7 had to move away from a piece of oncoming space debris. This sent Landsat 7 westward out of its nominal reference orbit. In May, the Flight Operations Team conducted a maneuver to push the spacecraft back east. As of Tuesday, June 5, Landsat 7 was back in its correct orbit.
