Two prominent Landsat Education and Public Outreach projects were featured at today’s Director’s Seminar given by the Science and Exploration Directorate at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Jeannie Allen presented an overview of her project that has focused on workforce development with NASA Land Remote Sensing at community colleges from 2005 until the present. Then Anita Davis presented on her long-term collaborative effort Earth to Sky: Brining Science to Life (a joint NASA-National Park Service – U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service effort).
