Director of the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Marcia McNutt, recently spoke at a briefing on the FY2013 budget request for USGS, which includes $53.3 million for Landsat 5 and 7 operations and LDCM (i.e., Landsat 8) ground system activities.
