Dr. James Irons, the Landsat Data Continuity Mission (LDCM) Project Scientist spoke with Federal News Radio on Wednesday about the roll of Landsat in disaster relief efforts. In the interview Dr. Irons also explains some of the other applications of Landsat data and he gives an overview of how satellite data collection works.
