STELLA Spectrometers

The current suite of STELLA DIY spectrometers includes four versions to choose from, each with different features and levels of building skills involved.

STELLA-1.1

Soldering and 3D printing skills required

The STELLA-1.1 has two sensors that take measurements in 12 bands (450-860nm), a brand spectrum surface temperature sensor, and weather sensors. It features a touch screen display with 3 different collection modes. Building this device requires some soldering and 3D printing skills. 3D print files are included for the following optional attachments: a drone case, cuvette mount (for liquid spectroscopy), and beam standoff.

STELLA-Q2

STELLA-Q2

No soldering or 3D printing required

The STELLA-Q2 features a new 18-band sensor (410-940nm) and a small digital display. Building this device requires no soldering, and while 3D printing is not required, a 3D print file for an optional drone case is included.

STELLA-Q glow

STELLA-Q

No soldering or 3D printing required

The STELLA-Q has two sensors that take measurements in 12 bands (450-860nm). It requires no soldering, a features a digital display, 3 different collection modes and neon keys.

STELLA-2.0

STELLA-2.0

Soldering and 3D printing skills required. Bluetooth functionality.

The STELLA-2.0 features two sensors that take measurements in 12 bands (450-860nm), a brand spectrum surface temperature sensor, and weather sensors. It has 2 different collection modes and bluetooth connection capabilities. Building requires soldering and an optional 3D print file for a drone case is included.
